Don Mueller, Planes Moving & Storage Receives United Van Lines Operations Achievement Award

ST. LOUIS—Donald J. Mueller of Planes Moving & Storage was honored with the 2012 United Van Lines Operations Achievement Award. The award was presented by Executive Vice President of Integrated Operations Services Pat Baehler at United’s national sales and operations conference, held recently in St. Louis.

This recognition acknowledges excellent individual performance in the field of operations. Only one individual is chosen for the annual award among employees at the more than 400 domestic United agencies.

During Mueller's 39-year career in the moving business, he has worked in van operations, general operations and the warehouse, and now plays a critical role as Assistant General Manager of Planes Indianapolis branch.

The executive team at Planes Moving & Storage nominated Mueller for the award because, according to CEO John Planes, they felt his level of professionalism, integrity and passion for excellence is second to none.

"We have had the honor of working with Don for 13 years and are continuously impressed with his wealth of industry knowledge and the credibility he has gained in his career," Planes said.
