Planes Fills the Truck for Local Charity Organization

WEST CHESTER, Ohio—For most people the holidays are over but for Reach Out Lakota, the gifts keep coming as Planes Moving and Storage recently delivered a truckload of items to the local organization. These items will help provide warm clothes and food to local families in need.

Last month, Planes participated in Frame USA's third annual Fill The Truck charity initiative where various local businesses collected donations for different charity organizations in the area. This is the second consecutive year Planes has sponsored Reach Out Lakota by hosting a portable storage unit at their West Chester location for community members to donate food, clothing, and personal care items to fill the truck.

"Planes Moving and Storage has always been supportive of our pantry. When we need a temporary storage site they provide us with one of their units as they did over the holidays to collect any extra donations right in our parking lot." said Lourdes Ward, Executive Director at Reach Out Lakota. In addition to sponsoring Reach Out Lakota, Planes donated 5 portable storage units and 1 tractor-trailer so other businesses had a place to collect and store donations for their charity for duration of the event.
