Lakota Local Schools And Planes Moving & Storage Collect 19,000 Ibs. Of Food Donations

WEST CHESTER, Ohio—Leading up to the third annual Lakota East vs. Lakota West High School football game on Oct. 24, Lakota students and community members were encouraged to donate items to Reach Out Lakota, a local non-profit organization that gives eligible families food, clothing and other necessities.

Items were collected at the football game in two portable storage containers donated by Planes Moving & Storage. After the game, Planes weighed the containers and determined the district collected a total of 19,000 Ibs. of donated items, which was significantly more than the last two years combined.

Director of the portable storage division at Planes, Jeff Lobaugh, said he was thrilled at the success of this event.

“The response by the students and families of Lakota to this food drive was exceptional,” Lobaugh said. “Planes was happy to be a part of it.”
